Picture of SWITCHIT! OPPOSITES SwitchIt! Opposites is is a cognitive skills and language tutorial program designed for use by children who cognitive or severe physical disabilities. Accessible with one or two switches, the program introduces concepts such as big and little, in and out, hot and cold, up and down, and open and closed. Two or more objects appear on the screen with a question; when the user selects the appropriate object to answer the question, a visual reward is given. The program offers multiple settings that allow users to practice at their own pace and level of difficulty; settings can be saved and loaded for later use. Program graphics can be printed to create activity cards. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible or Apple Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: CD-ROM drive.
