PRO FITTER & PRO FITTER PHYSIO KIT
The Pro Fitter is a horizontal glider exercise device designed to increase cardiovascular endurance, improved muscle tone, and enhanced body awareness through improved balance and coordination. As part of a therapeutic or rehabilitation program, the Pro Fitter can aid in the re-development of strength and proprioception after hip, knee, and ankle injuries; improve core stability for back, shoulder, and neck injuries; and enhance motor skills, muscular strength, and endurance. This piece of equipment has been found clinically effective for use on specific training of hip abductors and pelvic stabilizers; ankle inversion/eversion, plantar/dorsiflexion; ACL/MCL rehabilitation; re-training of spinal patients; postural re- education; and CNS dysfunctions. PRO FITTER COMPONENTS: The Pro Fitter consists of a rocking base with independent flexing/rotating foot pads and four adjustable tension settings; an attachable padded platform for sitting and standing; a 30-minute video outlining both fitness and rehabilitation applications; and an information kit and laminated exercise chart. PRO FITTER PHYSIO KIT: The Physio Kit includes the same components as the Pro Fitter, plus Fitter Balance Aids (self supporting ski poles for first time users and individuals with limited balance skills) and a Fitter Wooden Ankle Board (a solid version of the padded board; the solid board is more more stable for early knee and ankle patients and can be used as a progression leading up to the padded ankle board).
