Picture of UPLIFT SEAT ASSIST (MODELS MED-UL 100 & MED-UL 300) The Uplift Seat Assist converts any chair to a seat lift chair for use by individuals with neurological, lower extremity, or mobility disabilities or arthritis who have difficulty rising from a seated position. The cushion is placed on any chair and the selector is set to the weight of the user. As the user begins to shift weight to rise, the seat automatically provides a supported, stable horizontal assist, lifting 80 percent of the user's weight. This cushion features a memory foam surface; a removable, washable incontinence cover; and a carrying handle. The unit collapses flat for transport or storage. OPTIONS: Washable polyester cover. DIMENSIONS (DxWxH): The seat is 19 x 17 x 10 inches open and 19 x 17 x 2 inches closed. The base is 16 x 15 inches. CAPACITY: Model MED-UL 100 has a capacity of 80 to 230 pounds and model MED-UL 300 has a capacity of 195 to 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 9 pounds. COLOR: The included cover is black; the optional cover is available in a choice of five colors.
