The X2 6500 Series is a manual wheelchair designed specifically for large adults. FRAME: The folding frame is constructed of hardened steel and is fully welded. The square, eleven gauge tubing for the x-brace, four telescopic adapters and two reinforcing struts allow the wheelchair to accommodate obese persons. All painted components are powder coat epoxy finishes. SEAT: The standard seat widths are 20, 22, and 24 inches. Standard seat dimensions are as follows: seat from floor - 20.5 inches, back from seat 15.25 inches for all widths. Special low seat height, deep seats and reclining seat styles are available. UPHOLSTERY: The wheelchair seat is made of an embossed upholstery with textilene inner liner. Portwine is the standard color, however there are 18 additional colors available. ARMRESTS: The X2 6500 Series armrest are full length and cushioned vinyl. Optional armrest include removable full and desk arms. BRAKES: For easy operaton the wheelchair is equipped with extra long toggle brakes. CASTERS: Sealed, full race, precision bearing, reinforced caster fork, offset caster journals, 5/8 inch extra-duty axle. WHEELS: The "Uni-Mold" Mag Composite 8 and 24 inch wheels are 11 gauge four point welded steel with composite handrim with finger grips are standard. FOOTRESTS: Attached are hook-on footrest with durable aluminum footplates, standard; elevating legrests with cushioned contoured calf pads are optional. CAPACITY: Maximum user weight is 500 pounds. WEIGHT: 54 pounds.
