Picture of BRAILLE JAMB PLATE (MODELS J500400, J400400, J350350, J325325, J300400, & J400RND) The Braille Jamb Plate, models J500400, J400400, J350350, J325325, J300400 and J400RND, is a braille sign designed for use to indicate floor numbers for elevator passengers who are blind or have low vision. Each unit has a floor number or a designation such as PH (penthouse) in large print, together with the braille equivalent. The unit is placed in the elevator door jamb so that passengers can tell which floor they have reached before leaving the car. Made of acrylic, the unit comes in rectangular (J500400, J300400), square (J400400, J350350, J325325), or circular (J400RND) shapes. DIMENSIONS: 5 x 4 inches (J500400); 4 x 4 inches (J400400); 3.5 x 3.5 inches (J350350); 3.25 x 3.25 inches (J325325); or 3 x 4 inches (J300400). J400RND is 4 inches in diameter. COLOR: Available in a variety of color combinations.
