Picture of ENABLE EYES CONTROL BAR The Enable Eyes Control Bar is an eye controlled communicator program and mouse emulator designed for use by individuals with speech or communication disabilities and severe physical or neurological disabilities. The system utilizes state-of-the art eye tracking technology to create an all-in-one computer access and AAC software solution. Users can experience communication through speech generation, emails, instant messaging, and more. The software is designed to put eye tracking tools within reach but not in the way by using minimal screen space. Integrated features include: Eye Tracking Applications Keyboard, an onscreen eye-controlled keyboard with word prediction and snap-to-nearest-key functionality; Eye Tracking Mouse Tools that allow the user to single-, double- and right-click and click and drag objects on the screen; Eye Tracking Internet Tools to facilitate navigation of Web pages and websites; Eye Tracking Windows Control Tools to manipulate the size and position of active windows; Windows Program Linking to Microsoft Outlook Express and WordPad as well as any other selected program; and Eye Tracking AAC Page Integration with any other Forbes Rehab Services communication pages. The software enables the user to control the mouse cursor and make selections using eye movement. When using the Enable Eyes Control Bar to access Windows applications, the user to control the position of the mouse cursor simply by looking at targets on the screen. Wherever the user looks on the screen, the mouse cursor follows what is known as the eye gaze point. To make a selection, simply blink and the Enable Eyes Control Bar clicks.
