Anthony E. Gallucci: Playing Pool with AT

By Mansfield, Jennifer; AT Journal, Vol. 79, No. 1
Publication Date: August 2003

Article describing Anthony Gallucci’s use of the Cue Guide, which is a device that allows pool players with a lack of strength or dexterity to hold a pool cue. Gallucci is an older man who loves to play pool, but has difficulty playing due to grasping difficulties. The Cue Guide is made of a felt pocket, which the cue stick fits in to serve as a guide. Below the felt pocket is a pair of wheels, which are designed to roll easily across the pool table. The Cue Guide is designed so that it will not damage the finish on the cue stick or the felt on the table. When using the Cue Guide, Gallucci is able to play pool much more comfortably.
