HATIS and Verizon Pave Road to Complete Wireless Telecommunications Access for Hard-of-Hearing

Article describing The Missing Link, which is a cell phone-hearing aid headset for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. The product uses patented induction technology to transmit audio signals directly to the hearing aid, reducing the need for higher amplification and eliminating interference, thus increasing the user’s ability to hear the spoken word. Inline and hands-free boom microphone headsets can be used in conjunction with wireless service plans.
