After Graduation: Meeting Special Needs

Archived radio documentary on programs to help high school graduates with learning disabilities in their transition to the workplace and higher education. The documentary presents three educational programs: a class focused on study methods for students with learning disabilities; a class that teaches reading and writing with the help of Kurzweil 3000 voice output word processor software; and a program that emphasizes hands-on learning. The roles of visual mapping and voice output in Kurzweil 3000 are highlighted.
