Kurzweil Education Systems Offers New Voices

By AT Journal, Vol. 96, No. 1
Publication Date: May 2004

Article discusses Kurzweil Educational Systems’ addition of NeoSpeech’s VoiceText text-to-speech program as an add-on option to Kurzweil 3000 for Windows. Kurzweil 3000 is a comprehensive reading, writing, and learning software program for people with learning disabilities. The VoiceText program allows users to choose from two natural sounding voices: one male, the other female. The application is also compatible with Kurzweil 3000’s Create Audio File feature, so users can listen to books, assignments, and notes when traveling.
