First Words I and First Words II include 100 words that are among the earliest nouns understood by a typically developing 18-month-old child, while First Verbs includes 50 of the earliest verbs understood by a typically developing 2-year-old child. The programs incorporate creative photos and pictures, and each program offers five training levels: (1) Instructional Introduction, (2) Single Picture Training, (3) Basic Two-Picture Training, (4) Intermediate Training, and (5) Advanced Training. The programs feature an Optimized Intervention, which allows instructors to create individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
