The AT Exchange Has a New Look and More Features

By AT Messenger , Vol. 14, No. 3, pp. 1-2
Publication Date: Summer 2006

Article discusses updates made to the Assistive Technology (AT) Exchange, which is a portal on the Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative (DATI)’s website that allows individuals to list AT devices they are looking to sell or donate or post AT that they are interested in acquiring. The AT Exchange now requires users to log in, as DATI needs to obtain contact information users for security and communication purposes. Also, DATI needs to be able to document that people are benefiting from the services in order to keep getting federal funding for the site, which keeps it free to users. The process of setting up a user account is detailed and discussed.
