The VersaCorder Still Makes Good Sense

Article describing features of the VersaCorder cassette recorder and VersaPlayer cassette player from C. Crane that make them useful for blind users. Among these features are the ability to record in one-quarter time and voice-activated recording. Applications discussed include recording voice mails read by a screen reader, recording two-way radio conversations, and recording Internet audio programs. The manufacturer also provides an audio cassette manual upon request.
