Sonic Innovations Offers Balance Digital Aid

By Hearing Review,
Publication Date: November 2006

Article discusses Balance from Sonic Innovations, which is a digital hearing aid that features adaptive feedback cancellation as well as hands-free operation. The hands-free feature allows the device to automatically adjust to a user’s changing listening environment. The Balance comes in a standard behind-the-ear (BTE) model as well as a Micro BTE, which is very small in size and can be used for a variety of forms of hearing loss. The Micro BTE is a more discreet option for individuals who require greater amplification.
