Content-Area Applications

Article focuses on the use of video resources to teach curriculum content in special education classrooms. The author answers three main questions on the topic: (1) Can video support learning? (2) How can video be used to improve content-area instruction? and, (3) Where can teachers find video that supports content-area instruction? A number of Internet resources for special educators are listed, including resources for mathematics, science, social studies, and sites about teaching with movies.
