A reader responds to a previous article ("Safe and Secure," August 1994), commenting about the effectiveness of wheelchair tie-down and occupant restraint systems (WTORS). The reader describes an accident he was involved in, damage sustained by the vehicle, and lack of injury due largely to the effectiveness of the restraining system.
