Interview with Deane Blazie, founder of Blazie Engineering (now part of Freedom Scientific Blind and Low Vision Group), and creator of the Braille 'n Speak, Braille Lite, Braille Lite 40, Type 'n Speak, and Type Lite. The interview covers Blazie's beginnings in creating the Braille 'n Speak braille notetaker, and the development of subsequent products. He also discusses the Optacon, a discontinued product that still has some loyal users, and future trends in products for the blind.
