By Hearing Review, Vol. 10, No. 5, p. 45
Publication Date: May 2003

Article describing single-wall and double-wall audiometric rooms and suites from Eckel Industries. Eckel’s audiometric rooms were designed for installation in clinics and offices that prescribe hearing aids. Two floor designs are available: (1) the standard steel panel floor with vibration isolators, and (2) the Low Profile floor system that utilizes an acoustic solid rubber pad which supports the audiometric room. The Low Profile floor system is ideal for wheelchair access or for users who are elderly. Five models of mini-booths are available. The audiometric booths feature double acoustic windows, six position cable panels, continuous magnetic gasket door seals, incandescent lighting, silenced ventilation, and a choice between HD Castors or rubber vibration isolators.
