Alzheimers Skin Patch Receives US Approval

The Exelon Patch maintains steady drug levels in the bloodstream. It provides significant benefits to patients in terms of their memory and ability to perform everyday tasks as well as helping their overall functioning. It is applied to the back, chest, or upper arm, and provides continuous delivery of medication through the skin over 24 hours. The patch was also approved for treatment of patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease dementia.
