Assessing Reading, Listening, and Observational Comprehension in Students With Physical Disabilities

Article describing IntelliTools Comprehension CD, a component of the IntelliTools Classroom Suite, computer software used to assess listening, reading, and observational comprehension in students with disabilities in a wide range of curriculum areas and academic levels. Comprehension is a collection of 36 finished activities and 11 templates for generating new activities, to (1) help determine the level of comprehension in students and (2) improve their reading, listening and observation comprehension. Activities present content in various ways, followed by multiple-choice question pages to test comprehension. Students get audible feedback as they make a choice. Behind the scenes, data are collected for teachers to generate reports on the activities.
