Produced by MobilityWorks Adaptive Vehicles and developed by commercial wheelchair van providers in conjunction with Ford Motor Company, the vehicle, which combines the feel of a car and high fuel economy with the cargo room of a van, offers a new rear entry option compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). When the tumble seat is folded forward, the vehicle’s design provides a wheelchair area 31 inches wide and 50 inches long. A rear door BraunAbility installation kit for the 2010 Transit Connect is available for the Millennium and Century lift series.
