Accessory for Walkers Aims to Assist Users in Rising Unassisted

Article describes an accessory for walkers designed to provide users with additional leverage when rising from a seated position. The Easy-Up Handle for Walkers is a lightweight plastic handle that can be attached to most standard walkers. The standing-assist handle folds into the frame of the walker when not in use. The dimensions of the product are a width of 9 inches and a height of about 8 inches. Depending on the user’s strength, two handles may be necessary to provide the appropriate leverage.
