Picture of ACCESS4U MODULAR WHEELCHAIR RAMP The Access4U Modular Wheelchair Ramp is a modular ramp designed to provide wheelchair access for individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. These ramps are assembled from stock sections and can be configured to the user's home for permanent use on two or more steps. Modular systems include an aluminum frame, a two-rail handrail, an entry plate, adjustable legs, an ADA curb, vinyl or aluminum no-skid decking, an exit plate, and hardware. Systems are available with 90-degree turn, straight-through, or U-turn platforms. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 4, 5, 6, or 8 feet x 36 inches. Optional widths include 42 or 48 inches. Straight-through platforms and platforms for 90- degree turns are 4 x 4 or 5 x 5 feet. U-turn platforms are 4 x 8 or 5 x 10 feet. Custom sizes are also available for both ramp sections and platforms. CAPACITY: 50 pounds per square foot of ramp evenly distributed. For a 6 foot ramp section, the capacity is 900 pounds (3 feet wide x 6 feet long x 50 = 900 pounds).
