(Verified 02/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. ---Ace Explorer is a reading tutorial program designed to teach children and adults wit learning disabilities sequence skills, improve thinking skills, and encourage critical reading skills, as students take on the persona of explorers searching for aliens. By visiting alien plants, using the picture phone and searching computer banks, students are encouraged to put the story parts in correct sequence, and rewarded by Mission Control for doing so correctly through story printouts and alien pictures. The package is available on 5.25 and 3.5 inch disks for Apple and MS-DOS systems and 3.5 inch disks on Macintosh systems. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple, MS-DOS and Macintosh computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Memory requirements are 48K for Apple systems, 128K for MS-DOS systems and 1 megabyte and 2 megabytes respectively for Macintosh black and white and color computers. WARRANTY/GUARANTEE: If not fully satisfied, return software within 30 days (in resaleable condition) for full refund. Return defective disk to Mindplay for replacement. Disks will be replaced free for 90 days, thereafter, for a handling free of only $10.
