« Previous Product Next Product »The Cup Holder is a wheelchair cup, glass, mug, or can holder designed to allow individuals who do not have the use of their hands to drink through a straw from his/her own cup without assistance. The plastic adjustable cup cradle is fixed to the top of a 10 mm stainless steel rod. The rod is mounted onto the wheelchair arm with a plastic connector. The cradle has two openings on either side for a mug handle and will accommodate a wide variety of drinking containers, allowing the user to use a personalized cup. PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT: Designed for a quadriplegic that need assistance to drink. The cup holder was conceived by Fred O'Kelly to allow these individuals to take a drink whenever they please, giving them greater independence.
