--- DISCONTINUED. (Verifiewd 6/2001) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Supa Front Pedal Tryke is an adult tricycle, junior tricycle, designed for use by people who cannot pedal a tricycle with the pedals in the traditional position. The pedals are placed forward of the customary position to permit less bending of the rider's legs. The legs are positioned well in front of the upper body, and pedalling is geared directly to the larger front wheel. The cycle comes standard with a banana saddle. OPTIONS: anterior and posterior trunk supports and harnesses, abduction pad or pommel, handle for pulling or pushing, vertical hand grips, hand brake unit, different seat styles, footclamps or shoeholders, handlebar protection pad, and hand support mitts. SIZES: Medium and large. DIMENSIONS: The Medium model has a handlebar height of 34 inches. The seat height is adjustable from 23 to 29 inches and the distance from the seat to the handlebars is adjustable from 10 to 16 inches. The cycle adjusts from 31 to 35 inches long. The large model has a handlebar height of 35 inches. The seat height adjusts from 25 to 31 inches and the distance from the seat to the handlebars adjusts from 12 to 19 inches. The length adjusts from 36 to 42 inches. WEIGHT: The Medium cycle weighs 28 pounds. COLOR: Red/blue is standard; other colors are available.
