It features a large light-emitting diode (LED) display. The alarm can be set to a radio station or to a gentle buzz. Other features include an AM/FM tuner, AM wide band reception, single-function keys for easy operation, an alarm-on indicator, a snooze bar, a sleep timer to shut the radio off automatically, and full-power memory backup to prevent loss of time and alarm settings during a power failure.
