Side Door, models SDR626, SDR628 and SDR728, is a van ramp designed for use to provide wheelchair or scooter access for van passengers with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. It mounts to the floor of the van inside the doorway. When not in use it folds in quarters and stores vertically, leaving the doorway free. A center joint hinge eliminates pinch point and adds strength. Made of welded aluminum with an anti-slip, high traction surface, the unit accommodates wheelchairs and scooters with a variety of wheel configurations. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 72 x 26 inches, 38 x 13.5 x 8.75 inches when folded (SDR626); 72 x 28 inches, 38 x 14.5 x 8.75 inches when folded (SDR628); 84 x 28 inches, 44.5 x 14.5 x 8.75 inches when folded (SDR728). Floor to ceiling opening must be 42 inches for 72-inch ramp, 46 inches for 84-inch ramp. CAPACITY: 300 pounds for single axle; 600 pounds for two axles. WEIGHT: 32 pounds (SDR626); 33 pounds (SDR628); 38 pounds (SDR728).
