--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Conversion of the Chrysler mini-van series (Dodge Caravan, Dodge MiniRam Van, or Plymouth Voyager) for personal transportation. Steel reinforced floor lowered approximately 10 inches. 53 1/2 inch vertical door clearance. Automatic air suspension system allows "kneeling" or the vehicle chassis to be raised and lowered. Automatic electronically controlled sliding side door. Automatic electronically deployed boarding ramp. Quick disconnect seat brackets on driver and front seat passenger positions. Five sets of wheelchair tie-down brackets are included which allow wheelchair to be locked down in different positions within vehicle. A quick disconnect seat base is included to attach to one set of front brackets. Seat includes rear wheels and quick release cord handle. Carpeted interior. Keyed interior/exterior switches to activate automatic suspension/door/ramp operation. Optional remote control operation. Air suspension over-ride switch. Manual door and ramp operation possible in case of power loss. The Mini-IMP Transvan for institutional use has all the features of the Mini-IMP with the following differences: manually operated boarding ramp, standard suspension, non-slip rubber flooring throughout, two passenger assist bars, three wheelchair tie-down brackets and a fixed extended drivers seat. 7 year/ 70,000 mile limited warranty on the van and on the conversion.
