Picture of SKOOOCH The Skoooch is a leg-propelled three wheel cycle designed for use by children ages three through six years with lower extremity disabilities. This cycle combines the movement of cycling with the propulsion of a skateboard, enabling use by children unable to perforn the rotational motion of pedaling. This cycle has a single front wheel, handle bars, and hand brakes similar to those found on a standard bicycle. Rather than sitting, the user stands with one foot on each of two skateboard-style platforms, each fitted with a single small urethane wheel. The cycle is propelled by pushing off with one foot and gliding. FRAME: Bicycle syle front frame and platform supports of Hi-Ten steel with chromolloy inserts. DIMENSIONS: The front wheel is 12 inches in diameter and the rear wheels are 78 millimeters in diameter. WEIGHT: 23 pounds. CAPACITY: 100 pounds. COLOR: The frame is available in a choice of black, blue, silver, green, pink, purple, red, or yellow.
