(Verified 2/1998) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Bullard Tilt is a wheelchair base with tilting seat platform designed to allow wheelchair users to tilt forwards and backwards. The wheelchair features 35í of rear tilt, and 10í forward tilt. A gas cylinder provides four to ten pounds of force, allowing the user to manually move themselves through the entire tilt range. Right or left handed. Can be balanced for user's body weight and weight distribution. Telescoping width 14 to 20 inches. Two 24 inch rear mag wheels, two front 8 inch casters. Quick release axles $100.00. Manual self-tilt option, left or right: $300.00. Any seating system may be attached to the base, including the Tallahassee Therapeutic Seating Interface (see separate entry).
