(Verified 10/2003) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Ke:nx On Board is a keyboard interface and mouse emulator program designed to permit Macintosh computers to be operated by means other than a standard keyboard and mouse cursor-control device. The expanded keyboard is equipped with powerful mouse and speech output features that operate all your standard Macintosh software, including word processors, paint programs, databases, games and more. Enjoy efficient keyboard and Power Mouse commands for working at a realistic pace. Adjustable keyboard settings accommodate all kinds of typists with different physical needs. Ke:nx On:Board opens menus automatically, launches applications, selects icons and scrolls through windows. The system comes with four bright and colorful overlays including numbers, alaphabet, QWERTY and the mouse overlay. Additional keyboard overlays allow the user to change the keyboard's function to suit the needs of different applications. Included is Ke:nx create which allows the user to design custom overlays. The program includes a programmable speech option for all keys. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh. Also fits on Macintosh's PowerBook for portability. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh with ADB port, System 7 (Quicktime for Systems 7.0 and 1.0.1), 3 MB on hard drive, RAM: 2MB or more for setups, additional 0.5MB for minimum quality speech and up to 2 MB for highest quality speech. OPTIONS: Mounting plates and snap-on keyguards are available. Edmark offers Overlays for Learning for three software programs: Bailey's Book House, Millie's Math House, and Thinkin' Things Collection 1 (see separate entries) at $25.00 a set.
