In a typical application, the user positions his or her arm in the bottom portion of the device where the forearm is supported and can easily be pivoted down toward the plate as food is obtained. The user then slides his or her arm up the support until it is cradled in the top "rest" position. In this position, stability and support are provided as the individual completes the activity. The portable device clamps to tables up to two inches thick. It is fully adjustable both in height and angle and is avialble for both right and left handed individuals.
