It speaks digital files and web pages, including on-line books and PDF files. It can also magnify text and change the type face and color of the text. For people with dyslexia and other reading challenges, the program highlights and associates the visual and verbal word together for future recognition. ReadText comes with AT&T Natural Voices and one year of free updates. Multiple seat licenses are available. In addition to these features, ReadText Plus also includes a library of several hundred electronic books and dictionaries; assistive web links for those with reading challenges; and the AT&T System Developer's Guide. OPTIONS: Ability to speak Spanish, German, UK English, or French. COMPATIBILITY: For use on IBM and compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 800 Megahertz processor, 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM and 500 MB of hard drive space and speakers or earphoneswith sound card.
