The Decoder CCIIP and CCIII are telecaption decoders designed to be portable for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. The decoder hooks directly into your VCR so you can watch your favorite movies or TV shows. The text is positioned in different areas on the screen to identify who is talking. It also has dual language capability. The Teknova Decoder CCIII can be connected to a VCR and television, while the Teknova CCIIIP hooks up directly to a cable converter or direct video source and is designed for use in hotels, schools, homes with a cable tuner, and entertainment clubs where RF Channel 3 is the only video source. DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): 6 by 4 by 1.6 inches. WEIGHT: Less than three pounds. WARRANTY: One year manufacturer's warranty.
