Picture of VITAL-LINK PERSONAL MEDICAL ALARM SYSTEM The Vital-Link Personal Medical Alarm System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors and individuals with disabilities who are at risk for medical emergencies. The system includes a water-resistant transmitter and a console that plugs into a phone line. The transmitter is about the size of a matchbox and can be worn around the neck or on the wrist. Pressing a button on the transmitter sends a signal to the console and activates it. When activated, the console contacts the Vital-Link Medical Alert Monitoring Response Center and allows a Vital-Link monitor to speak with the user via the console’s speaker. POWER: Console uses household current with rechargeable back-up battery. WEIGHT: Button transmitter is 1 ounce.
