The Harmony Two-Way Personal Emergency Response System is an emergency alert system with monitoring service designed for use by seniors or individuals with disabilities who are at risk for medical emergencies. The system includes a pendant transmitter that can be worn around the neck or on the wrist, and a table-top console that connects to a telephone line like an answering machine. When the user presses a button on the pendant or console, the console automatically calls the company's Emergency Response Center, enabling the user to speak directly to professional staff through an amplified speakerphone. The system includes the main console, power cord, waterproof pendant, and wrist strap. The system performs a weekly self-test to verify the system is working correctly and that battery levels are good. POWER: Console uses household current or backup battery. The pendant uses a battery.
