(Verified 04/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- StarCare is a call signal system designed for use by residents of long term care and assisted living facilities. Residents can place a call by pushing a button, and the call immediately appears at the administrative station in a clear format which indicates the residence number requesting assistance and the type of call. Residents check in each morning by pressing a button in their aparmtents, and the names of those who do not check in are clearly displayed at the administrative station. Resident call messages are delivered to staff pagers, and the call system can be integrated with the existing in-house telephone system. The system is also compatible with third-party wireless systems (not included) that enable residents to call in silently using pendant transmitters.

Notes: The manufacturer states that this system carries the Underwriters Laboratory UL1069 Listing for Hospital Signaling and Nurse Call Equipment.
