Picture of BRAUN RA400H TRANSIT RAMP The Braun RA400H Transit Ramp is a hydraulic bus ramp designed to provide wheelchair access for a low-floor bus. The ramp comes in a self-contained drop-in unit. When stored, the ramp section folds back onto the base. When the ramp is extended, it is raised hydraulically and once it passes 90 degrees vertical, it is allowed to lower to its fully extended position using gravity. It closes in a similar manner. It has a manual override in case of power loss or malfunction. No pre-assembly is required. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 40.75 x 39.25 inches when stowed; 78.5 x 39.25 inches with ramp extended. The ramp section is 32 inches wide. The unit has 4-inch high side barriers. POWER: 12-volt DC hydraulic (24-volt DC optional). WEIGHT: 185 pounds.
