Picture of TALK -------- PROTOTYPE --------- PURPOSE: To design a prototype of a mobile communications concept for individuals with disabilities and the elderly that allows users to have access to 24 hour support at the push of a button. Talk is a mobile communication device worn as a pendant around the neck. It can be customized to call up to three designated numbers. To call one of the designated numbers, the user rotates the faceplate of the device into the position of the person they want to contact and pushes the call button.
