Stickybear Phonics 1 is an academic and pre-reading skills tutorial program designed for children from pre-kindergarten through third grade who have learning or developmental disabilities. The program features integrated video with animation for every lesson. The lessons begin with a review of the letters of the alphabet, followed by consonant sounds, short vowel sounds, and long vowel sounds. Actors in the video demonstrate the material, allowing students to see how the mouth shapes sound and hear each word pronounced. Students will reproduce each sound after demonstration. Sight words, reviews, stories, and work book activities are also included. The school versions and above also come with freely reproducible lesson plans and manipulative masters.
