Mathosaurus is a math tutorial program designed to build early math concepts and computation skills. The four disk series includes 16 activities where animated dinosaurs entertain children as they learn. Students match sets to corresponding number symbols 1 to 10, create matching sets and compare sets to determine which is more and which is less. They learn the meaning of numbers to 20, ordinal numbers first through tenth and the concepts of greater than and less than. They practice counting to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's, and learn to recognize place value in 3-digit numbers. The final disk contains three activities which provide practice in addition and subtraction. Teachers can control the difficulty of problems and student results can be summarized and printed. COMPATIBILITY: Apple. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple IIe, IIc, IIGS or Macintosh with an Apple IIe emulation card; 64k; 5.25 inch disk drive.
