The Internet Videophone is a video display telephone designed for use by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. This videophone connects over the Internet, and allows users who are deaf to communicate through sign language. An internal/external strobe light and a wireless vibrator module are included to provide notification of incoming calls. The system provides real-time transmission and receipt of message software, so that users who are not proficient in sign language may use text communication via a wireless keyboard.
