The Royale 4 is a 4-wheeled scooter designed for outdoor use by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities or as an alternative to driving. This scooter has independent front suspension and can be used on sidewalks, streets and dedicated paths where permitted. FRAME (LxWxH): 62 x 29 x 53 inches. The seat folds for transport or storage. The Royale 4 has an underbody ground clearance of 6 inches and a turning radius of 63 inches. Available colors are burgundy red, midnight black and diamond silver. A detachable basket located behind the seat is optional. CONTROLS: A digital display with a battery level indicator, speedometer and clock is located on a control panel at the top of the tiller between the handlebars. A thumb and delta throttle is located on the right side of the control panel with a forward/reverse switch. Rear view mirrors with forward-facing blinkers extend from each side of the control panel. RWD: Rear-wheel drive with a 1.7-horsepower, 1,300-watt brush motor. SEAT: Orthopedic, 20-inch wide captain style seat with accessory port. Other seat features include seatbelt, infinite adjustable tilt setting and 360-degree swivel. ARMREST: Adjustable, padded armrest. BRAKES: Electromagnetic dual disc brakes with roll back prevention. WHEELS: Two 13.5-inch diameter, 3.5-inch front wheels and two 16-inch diameter, 4-inch rear wheels. All four wheels have pneumatic tires with aluminum alloy rims. POWER: Uses two 80-ampere, 12-volt batteries. The battery pack is located under the seat. A 120/140-volt, 8-ampere charger is included. SPEED: 9.3 miles per hour maximum. The range is 32 miles, and the maximum recommended incline is 12 degrees. CAPACITY: 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 426 pounds with batteries. WARRANTY: Three-year limited warranty on all structural frame components and one-year limited warranty on electronic components.
