« Previous Product Next Product »The Sovereign is a scooter designed for indoor or outdoor use by individuals with mobility or neurological disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis. These scooters include a front mesh basket. FRAME (LxWxH): The overall dimensions for model 888-3ES are 45.25 x 23 5/8 x 38 to 28.5 inches. The wheelbase is 34 x 21.5 inches with a ground clearance of 3 inches. The turning radius is 37 inches. The overall dimensions for model 888-4ES are 48.5 x 21.5 x 38 to 28 inches with a ground clearance of 3 inches. The turning radius is 50 inches. The frame on both models disassembles for transport. CONTROLS: Controls are mounted on an adjustable tiller on both models. RWD: Both models are rear-wheel drive with full suspension. SEAT: The padded, sliding swivel deluxe captain's seats have headrests. Both models are also equipped with electric seat lifts and manual recline capability. The seat height adjusts from 21 to 23 inches on model 888-3ES and from 22 to 24 inches on model 888-4ES. ARMRESTS: Adjustable flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Electronic brakes. WHEELS: Model 888-3ES is a three-wheeled model, with the front wheel comprised of dual articulating wheels. Model 888-4ES is a four-wheeled model. OPTIONS: Sun shade, rear view mirror, rear wire basket, cane holder, walker holder, armrest carrying bag, and more. POWER: Uses 12-volt batteries. SPEEDS: 0 to 5 miles per hour with a travel range of up to 25 miles per battery charge and a climbing angle of 8 degrees for both models. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: Both models weigh 110 pounds without batteries. The heaviest part when disassembled on model 888-3ES weighs 41 pounds and 42 pounds on model 888-4ES. The seat weighs 34 pounds on both models.
