(Verified 11/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Pacesaver Passport is a three-wheeled scooter designed for indoor or outdoor use by individuals with mobility disabilities. FRAME (LxW): 46 x 23.75 inches with a 4-inch ground clearance and a 35.4-inch turning radius.. The scooter disassembles for transport. An optional stretch front frame provides an extra four inches of foot space. This scooter has a gray body with red trim. CONTROLS: Tiller-mounted controls with thumb levers are standard. The control box includes a battery-level indicator and an on/off key switch. The tiller is adjustable. A Delta tiller (oval), an extended delta tiller, and thumbrest extensions are optional. RWD: This scooter is available with a Maxi-Drive belt and chain rear wheel drive or with a maintenance-free transaxle. SEAT (WxD): 16 x 16 inches. The back height is 17 inches. The seat height adjusts from17 to 19 inches ab0ve the floor of the scooter. A padded, height- adjustable seat is standard. A high-backed admiral's chair with an angle-adjustable back and a spring supported seat is optional. An extra-wide seat is also available. UPHOLSTERY: Fabric upholstery in red. ARMRESTS: Padded, flip-up armrests are standard and width- and height-adjustable armrests are optional. BRAKES: Electronic brakes. WHEELS: Three 2.5 x 9 inch wheels with pneumatic tires are standard. Foam-filled, flat-free tires and hubcaps are optional. OPTIONS: Light package, oxygen holder, cane holder, crutch holder, removable front basket, a rear view mirror, and a folding rear basket are optional. POWER: Uses 2 12-volt gel batteries; an external battery charger is included. SPEEDS: The maximum speed with the Maxi-Drive is 4.5 miles per hour for a range of 18 to 22 miles per charge at a maximum incline of 15 degrees and 5.2 miles per hour for 20 to 30 miles with the transaxle. A speed control dial is included on the control box on the tiller. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: When disassembled, the heaviest section is 38 pounds and the lightest section is 21.5 pounds. WARRANTY: One-year warranty.
