(Verified 12/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Euroba, Soaking, Personal, Dimension 4, Newport, and Doublewide are cushioned bathtubs designed to be safer and more comfortable than bathtubs made of conventional materials. The tubs are padded with supple cushioning which becomes more cushioned when hot water is added. The hi-tech elastomeric materials and coatings provide strength and durability. The surface of the tubs is nonporous so dirt cannot adhere to it, facilitating sanitation in institutional settings. The materials of the tubs, with a high-density foam core, insulate the units to retain water heat longer. INSTALLATION: Standard size models (Euroba, Soaking, Personal and Dimension 4) are installed in most traditional settings. All units have a cushioned perimeter so they can butt up against an uneven surface and form a seal, or be placed into any pedestal installation. WHIRLPOOLS: All models can be equipped with a factory whirlpool system for hydro-therapy. Jets are strategically placed for therapeutic effect and comfort. Four jets are recommended for standard sized tubs; 6 jets for oversized tubs. ILLUMINATION: Another option is an underwater illumination system. DIMENSIONS: Standard sized tubs run from 55 1/8 inches to 60 inches long, 31.5 to 32 inches wide, and 18 to 25 inches high. Extra wide tubs are 71.5 x 41.5 x 24.5 inches (Newport model) or 72 x 48 x 21.75 inches (Doublewide model). WEIGHT: Standard sizes run from 80 to 110 pounds. Extra wide tubs are 135 or 150 pounds. COLOR: Classic white, black, bone and gray are standard colors; the manufacturer will custom color or match any major manufacturers' colors. WARRANTY: Manufacturer offers a limited 10-year residential and a 5-year commercial warranty.
Notes: Manufacturer states these tubs have IAPMO, SBCCI, Underwriters' Laboratory (UL), and several regional code approvals. The products have also been independently tested and meet all applicable Japan Industrial Standards (JIS) requirements.
