Code Alert Wandering Management is a wandering patient system designed for use with individuals with Alzheimer's disease or cognitive disabilities. When a protected individual attempts to exit a facility, the transmitter electronically triggers the lock at the point-of-exit and notifies staff with audible and visible alerts. The system is scaleable and customizable, and includes perimeter alarms with keypad controls, a voice alarm for use with a public address system, monitoring through a console or computer, a paging system to notify staff through a pager when an alarm goes off, a staff alert panel, fall monitoring, and a quick-look display.
