Picture of ABOVO PERSONAL COMMUNICATION DEVICE (MODELS PCD-P & PCD-NP) The Abovo Personal Communication Device, models PCD-P and PCD-NP, is a communication board designed for use by individuals who are unable to communicate verbally. This product allows the user to communicate through single finger typing. This portable, handheld electronic device features 41 keys, a 4-function calculator and a microprocessor with the ability to store 8000 characters. It is available in Alpha or QWERTY style and be purchased without a printer, with an internal printer or with Multivoice interface. POWER: Uses rechargeable and replaceable NiCd battery pack. OPTIONS: Wireless remote display unit, Multi-remote distribution unit that allows for communication with up to eight remote display units, and a Computer Wedge Interface which functions to download PCD memory to the newer Apple and IBM personal compatible computers, hard and soft carrying cases. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 1.2 x 4 x 10 inches. WEIGHT: 1.7 pounds.
