Smart/128 is a direct selection communicator and communication board designed for use by individuals with communication or speech disabilities. This augmentative and alternative communication device features a removable transparent top grid with 128 locations for recorded messages. Without the grid, the device can be used for pictorial communication. With the grid, messages up to 2.25 seconds long can be recorded and played back on six levels with up to 128 messages per level. The device comes with overlay designer software. As many as 768 independent messages can be recorded and stored on an interchangeable flash memory card. The unit has volume and level controls, external speaker and recording jacks, a carrying handle, and a shoulder strap. OPTIONS: Key guards; carrying cover; carrying case; mounting plate and metal stand. POWER: Uses rechargeable battery. A low battery indicator light is included.
Notes: A Smart/128 Bundle Kit is available for $1585.00. The kit includes Smart/128, Key Guards (4, 8, 16, 32 & 128), six thematic overlays, an external flash drive with pre-recorded voices to match overlays, a carrying case, and a resource CD with Tech/Overlay Designer and Tech/Syms.
